Fluxus System
Cal Aqua Labs' Fluxus System consists of an Influx pipe transporting water from the aquarium to an external filter, and an Efflux pipe bringing clean water from the filter back to the aquarium. Both pieces are made with the highest quality laboratory-grade borosilicate glass and artistically hand-blown.
Efflux Outflow
The Efflux outflow pipe carries the unique downward-angled funnel design to provide increased water movement to lower parts of the aquarium. This reduces stagnation points and improves gas and nutrient exchange for low and midground plants
The funnel can be conveniently raised slightly above the waterline to create gentle surface movement which will eliminate surface film without aerating the water, and hence reduce CO2 loss. To aerate, simply life the funnel slightly higher.

Efflux F1 (13mm)

The Efflux F1 is designed for aquariums approximately 15-25 cm (6-10") in height such as the ADA Mini-S and Mini-M. The outflow can be used with canister filters with 1/2" diameter tubing such as the Eheim 2215. The outflow has an upward funnel shape which gently releases water into your aquarium. Each outflow is supplied with one suction cup to secure it to the side of the aquarium.

Efflux F2 (13mm)

The Efflux F2 has a 13 mm tube diameter for 1/2" tubing and carries a downward-angled funnel. The width between the arch is approximately 4.3 cm. It is designed for aquariums 20 gallons and larger that use 1/2" tubing for the canister filter outflow. Each F2 Efflux pipe is supplied with one suction cup.

Efflux F3 (17mm)

The Efflux F3 has a 17 mm tube diameter for 5/8" tubing and holds two suction cups for enhanced stability. The width between the arch is approximately 6 cm. The F3 is suitable for aquariums 30 gallons and larger that use 5/8" tubing for the canister filter outflow. Each F3 pipe is supplied with two removable suction cups.

Influx Inflow
The Influx pipe carries water from the aquarium down to the canister filter. Cal Aqua Labs' unique design places intake slits across wider distances on the stem. As a result, it pulls in water from multiple depths spanning a wider range of the water column. This improves water circulation and allows particles suspended higher in the water column to readily enter the tube to the filter.

The Influx X1 is designed for aquariums approximately 15-25 cm (6-10") in height such as the ADA Mini-S and Mini-M. The outflow can be used with canister filters with 1/2" diameter tubing such as the Eheim 2215. The total length of the outflow is approximately 15 cm from top to bottom and has multiple narrow slits towards the bottom end. Each inflow is supplied with one suction cup to secure it to the side of the aquarium.

The Influx X2 has a 13 mm tube diameter for 1/2" tubing and contains uniquely-placed multiple narrow slits spanning a longer length for more uniform flow across the water column. The width between the arch is approximately 4.3 cm and has a total length of 30 cm. It is designed for aquariums 20 gallons and larger that use 1/2" tubing for the canister filter outflow. Each X2 Influx pipe is supplied with one suction cup.

With a total length of approximately 35cm, the Influx X3 is one of the longest glass inflow pipes on the market. It has a 17 mm tube diameter for 5/8" (16mm ID) tubing and holds two suction cups for enhanced stability. This inflow also contains uniquely-placed narrow slits spanning a large portion of its length for more uniform flow across the water column. The width between the arch is approximately 6 cm. The X3 is suitable for aquariums 30 gallons and larger that use 5/8" tubing for the canister filter outflow. Each X3 pipe is supplied with two removable suction cups.
